A Word From The Champion

“Sometimes we lay the foundation, sometimes we lay the pipe, and sometimes we lay the beatdown. There’s one Don in this league”.

Turns out all you need to do is hire a professional to draft your team…

Draft Day Information

If you missed last year’s draft party, you better not miss out on this years (See below for pictures)!

This year, we have a few honorable mentions and an official unveiling of the MBK Trophy.

The draft will be hosted in the Benigno backyard on Sunday September 4th. Party starts at 8:30 AM or when the first beer is opened (I will be opening it at 8 AM).

Breakfast, Bacon and Beer, the only 3 B’s you need in life. What’s a bitch anyway…

DRAFT starts at 10:00 AM!

Come early, come prepared, and come well-dressed (ref. Team Metric).

See Ya Later Alligator

Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, good bye…

See ya later to the folks leaving the MBK Fantasy Football League… They just couldn’t take the heat.

With that, the commish is pleased to announce that we’ve filled the league with some better talent.

We are pleased to welcome:

And last but not least, the man coming back into the league after leaving in year 2, Adam Sturino.

Keeper Notes

In the 3rd season, we finally start to see who knows what they’re doing, and who has no idea.

Here are some highlights from the Keeper selections:

Most Expensive – Big Ben’s Boys

Is that an 83 or 33 that Dalvin is wearing? Clearly Mr. Mastromattei has confidence in this stud running back leading his team.

Best Value – Dak Biscott

This was a tough one, but I got to give it to Mr. Giorgio from Alex’s Meat Market. Honourable mentions to Justin Jefferson for $6 (@ Bianchi), Ja’Marr Chase for $21 (@ Under The Radar), and Cak Akers for $8 (@ Top Degens).

You all probably should’ve won over Dak Biscott, but he’s bringing the bacon on draft day.

Drinking, Not Drafting

Drinking is better than drafting anyways. While the boys draft on draft day, Big Ben’s Boys, Catch The Blitz, and The Metric will all be drinking.

With expensive keepers, all 3 teams go into this draft with less than $100 to spend. Use it wisely fellas.

Big Ben’s Boys – $62

Catch The Blitz – $82

The Metric – $99

“The boogeyman is back… or should I say The Metric. With some new tweaks we will

retain our title as NFC regular season champions while easily and swiftly taking our rightful place as playoff champions. You know it to be true. We know it to be true. The fantasy gods know it to be true.”

– Owner of the Metric, J. Pole

Pre-Draft Power Rankings

Pre-Draft Power Rankings brought to you by The Anonymous Players association. Owners across the league were asked to put rankings in based on keepers, ownership, and most importantly, length of time in the league.
