Week 2 MBK Fantasy Football Newsletter

Week 2 in the books and the waiver wire is looking more important than ever.

Game of the Week goes to Andrew Mills and Dalvin and The Chipmunks. In this fierce intra-divisional event, Dalvin and The Chipmunks squeak by to go 2-0, leaving Team Mills to a 1-1  start to the year. Dalvin & The Chipmunks owners say thank you to Kareem Hunt, who got 86  rushing yards, 1 TD and 15 receiving yards by the defence. Team Mills falls only due to mismanagement, as Jamison Crowder and. Anthony Miller both put up 0 points for the team.

Dak Attack

Dak Biscott outclasses the  commissioner’s “Scary Terry & The Boys”  team by too many points to count.  The effort from Team Biscott comes from  not Aaron Jones, who graciously put up  43 points.  With this loss, Dak Biscott goes to 2-0,  leaving Scary Terry & The Boys to 0-2.

Draft Dividends

Under The Radar Owner Pat Benigno believed he overpaid for Dak Prescott in the draft, but  after an unbelievable performance by the Cowboys Sunday, Mr. Benigno is confident Dak will  start bringing in the numbers to warrant a salary of $28.

The IR

Franchise 14 and Scary Terry & The Boys both take horrible losses in week 2, but after  speaking to team owners, they are more worried about something else.

Saquon Barkley has officially been ruled out for the season, leaving the projected top player on  their roster out. The owners are faced with a tough decision of keeping him on the bench to  maintain keeper status, or dropping him and letting him be a free agent in next years auction.

Other notable injuries will effect Wranglers and Team Mills, who will be without the legendary  Christian McCaffery for the foreseeable future.

After week 2, all franchise owners who may have believed the league is rigged, now knows it is  not. Commissioner falls 0-2 and loses many notable players: Barkley, Lindsay, and Mack. The  commissioner also has the lowest points for through week 2 with 168 points.

Team Of The Week

Congratulations to Sfroz’it (aka BOOMBATZ) and Refroz’it (Dom) for winning team of the week  on the AFC. Boombatz had a hell of a week, being a cowboys fan and taking home TOTW.

Kudos to Dom on not letting his emotions get the best of him during draft day. Dom is a Giants  fan and well… if he continued to pursue Saquon, they would not be here in week 2. How can a  team with a Cowboys and Giants owner have such great chemistry?

Congratulations to Mastro/G for winning team of the week on the NFC side. Great overall  performance from all players on the team. Mastro/G come out of the week with a 1-1 record,  but more importantly, they beat the metric. Mastro/G are up against 0-2 Jordan & Antonio in  week 3 and hope they can continue this heat.

The Misfits

It’s a tough week for Matty P’s Entourage, who lose to a team full of Misfits. Joe DePaulo’s.  Misfits beat Matty P’s Entourage thanks to a great Sunday night performance by Cam Newton.

Waiver Wire Frenzy

The commissioner expects this weeks Waiver Wire to heat up and become competitive.  Devonte Freeman signs with the Giants to hopefully replace injured Saquon Barkley.

The commissioner won’t speak on any other waiver wire candidates to not defer any bias.

The commissioner would like to point out Stu / John Pol on the Russell Gage waiver wire  addition. They successfully acquired Gage with a $21 bid.

Wall of Shame / Wall of Fame

Congratulations to all 2-0 teams: Dak Biscott, Shinetime, Dalvin & The Chipmunks, Sfroz’it and  Refroz’it, and Bianchi Bros

Best Wishes to all 0-2 teams: Team Hercules, Scary Terry & The Boys, Jordan & Antonio,  Bancheri/Vits, Tank For Tua, Guida’s
