MBK Week 3 Fantasy Football Newsletter

What a time to be alive…

Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Lightning on winning the Stanley Cup. The tradition of ex-leafs who were deemed brutal and couldn’t play for the Leafs hoist the cup.

2020 – Luke Schenn

2019 – Tyler Bozak, Alexander Steen, Carl Gunnarsson

2018 – Caps beat Leafs in 7 in round 1, which did more harm than good for the Leafs

2017 – Phil Kessel, Ron Hainsey

2016 – Phil Kessel

Anyways… Onto Week 3

Game of the Week goes to Acqua vs. Tank For Tua

This intra-divisional clash between 2 mediocre teams turned out to be pretty… well, mediocre. The catch? Tank For Tua squeaks by Acqua by 1.9 points…

“We’re extremely grateful for being up against Acqua.” Tank for Tua Coach Lino Persechini said. Persechini was commenting on the fact that they would’ve lost to 19 out of 22 other opponents in week 3.

Coming up for Tank For Tua are the 0-3 Guida’s, which “should be a breeze” says Persechini

A Different Breed

This man right here, #15 Patrick Mahomes is a different breed. 385 yards, 4 TDs, and 0 INTs helps Team STR and the Bianchi Bros with two big wins this week.

Going into Monday night, Commissioners Scary Terry & The Boys were up 9 points. “I was hopeful, but I had a feeling Mahomes would come to play” says Coach Miele.

The Commissioner now falls to 0-3 but remain hopeful in the coming weeks.

The Bianchi Bros extend there win streak to 3 with the help from Mahomes.

Spotlight Matchup

Next week Bianchi Bros are home to Sfroz’it and Refroz’it, an amazing match up between two 3-0 teams.

“We are not worried, this league is easy” says coach Boombatz (Sfroz’it). Dom (Refroz’it) declined to comment on the matchup.

Loser of the Week

Coach Mills and John fall short to Dalvin and The Chipmunks (98-83), scoring the lowest result of all franchises in Week 3.

Coach Mills is looking forward to next week, where he has a little more to play for. Stu / John Pol will square off against Team Andrew Mills, the older, better looking brother.

Carrying The Load

SHINETIME had an unbelievable performance from none other than Alvin Kamara once again…

Kamara was this weeks best player and has now exceeded fantasy expectations in all 3 weeks. Must be nice to get lucky with your draft, Shinetime.

Coach Giannace called the 3-0 status on Saturday night and told the commissioner to his face he would be going 4-0 after week 4. SHINETIME will square up against Miele’s Scary Terry & The 0-3 Boys next week.

Birthday Shoutout

Happy Birthday To Co-Commissioner Pat Benigno. Coach Benigno declined to comment on the teams performance vs 3-0 Sfroz’it and Refroz’it.

Franchise Expansion

Team STR has sold 50% of it’s ownership to Alex DiLucia, brother of Dak Biscott’s coach Giorgio.

Take it easy on the guy… he’s delicato. And remember, if you ever want to watch football with him on Sunday, its best you ask his girlfriend first. Great dude, welcome to the league.

Team of the Week

For the SECOND week IN A ROW, Sfroz’it and Refroz’it win TOWT for the AFC.

Congratulations to SHINETIME, who won there first TOTW by a landslide.

Undefeated Lookout

SHINETIME, Dalvin & The Chipmunks, Sfroz’it and Refroz’it, and Bianchi Bros advance to 3-0 after week 3.
