MBK NEWSLETTER: WEEK 1!
Congratulations to all the winners of week 1! Week 1 brought excitement and disappointment to many… and you should only expect more!
TEAM OF THE WEEK
Congratulation to Tank for Tua with 156 points in the AFC. Coach Jake is thankful for the Cowboys and Amari Cooper for the stellar performance.
“You know, he just goes out there and catches the ball. He just happens to catch it in the end zone a lot” says Coach Jake.
Congratulations to Le Gordo with 144 points in the NFC, beating Jordan and Antonio by 2 points! Le Gordo has a great all around team with great performances from Murray, CMC, Hopkins and Lockett.
“We believe were a contender this year after a disappointing one last year” says coach Mills.
“WTF DID WE JOIN, SKIP?”
The commish was walking through the press box and overheard a conversation between 2 owners in the league, Skip and Shannon.
Y’all came in as rookies this year and it showed this week, putting up a dismal 75 points.
Skip and Shannon are working on their relationship this week, but Shannon believes this may be the last year in the league.
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Honorable mentions go out to CTB, Team Acqua, Skip and Shannon, and Moneyball.
Catch The Blitz is a “Fantasy Football Analyst” according to his LinkedIn profile, yet, they couldn’t even break 100 this week. Better luck next week fellas.
Team Acqua comes into Week 1 as the reigning champ and can’t put up 100 points, losing to Hareem Kunt by 20 points.
Skip and Shannon, well, enough is enough with the segment above.
Moneyball owner Christian Bianchi believed they’d go undefeated after the draft. Well, shitty drafts bring shitty results. Hopefully you can use that extra money for next year Pal.
COMMISSIONERS CORNER
Scary Terry & The Boys already has more wins than last year. The commish wants everyone to know he isn’t joking around this year.
“All I gotta say is, ‘see ya next time SHINETIME’”
INJURY REPORT
Big injuries for Sfroz and Ellis this week with Raheem Mostert going down. No one else could give Sfroz a challenge, so Raheem did.
Another big injury for Matty P and Jordan and Antonio with Gus Bus going down. I guess once in a while the bus breaks down.
WAIVER WIRE FAVOURITES
Here are some key players to watch in this week’s waiver wire:
– Christian Kirk
– Elijah Mitchell
– Van Jefferson
– Mark Ingram
– Tim Patrick
